Disclaimer
Last updated: October 8, 2026. This disclaimer applies to every calculator, guide and formula page on CalcPlanet.
Results Are Estimates
CalcPlanet calculators apply documented formulas to the values you enter. A result is only as accurate as those inputs and the assumptions stated on each page, such as a fixed interest rate, a specific tax year or a standard cycle length. Rounding, simplified models and missing personal details mean a result can differ from an official figure. Results are provided for general information and education, not as professional advice.
Financial, Tax and Investment Calculators
Mortgage, loan, APR, savings, investment and pay calculators produce estimates. They do not include every fee, tax, insurance cost or lender rule, and they do not predict market returns. Tax calculators state the tax year and filing assumptions they use; rules change, so check the date shown on the page. Before borrowing, investing or filing a return, compare official disclosures such as a lender's Loan Estimate, or consult a qualified financial or tax professional.
Health and Pregnancy Calculators
BMI, body fat, calorie, ideal weight and due date calculators use published population formulas. They cannot account for your medical history and are not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. A pregnancy due date is an estimate that a clinician may revise, for example after an ultrasound. Talk to a doctor or other qualified health professional about any health decision.
Cryptocurrency and Market Data
Crypto calculators use the prices you enter. Where a page shows live prices or exchange rates from a third-party source, that data may be delayed or incomplete. Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile and past performance does not indicate future results.
External Sources and Links
Pages may cite or link to government agencies, standards bodies and other publications so you can check the method. A citation means the source was used as a reference; it does not mean that organization reviewed or endorses CalcPlanet.
Errors and Liability
We work to keep formulas and examples correct but cannot guarantee that every result is error-free or suitable for your situation. You are responsible for decisions made using any result. If you find an error, send the page URL, your inputs and the expected result through the contact page. Material corrections are listed on the corrections page.
